About Us.

The Marvin Thomas Memorial Fund was established to honor Marvin Thomas’s legacy of community service and support. Our mission is to enrich lives through sports, education, and community initiatives. We offer programs like G.R.O.W., Unity in the Community Basketball Camp, The Outside Project, and Mini-Grants to support and empower underserved youth in King County. We believe in the power of community collaboration and strive to create opportunities for personal growth and development.

Marvin Thomas Memorial Mini-Grant.

The Marvin Thomas Memorial Mini-Grants offer financial assistance to King County, WA residents facing economic hardships. Recognizing the struggle many families endure, these grants aim to alleviate financial burdens. To apply, complete a brief 3-minute survey. While we strive to support everyone, the grant amount may vary, and not all applicants may receive assistance. Nonetheless, we encourage those in need to apply, and we will do our best to help as many people as possible.
